Software requirements

1. Microsoft Windows operating system (Windows 7 or higher).
2. Internet browser (IE, Mozilla, Chrome, Opera)

Hardware setup

Web application supports any ELM 327 compatible interface. Interface must be visible in Windows on serial port (COM1..COM8). All types of interfaces are supported (RS232, USB, Bluettoth, WiFi) if appropriate, device related software driver is installed and device is capable to communicate with the application via COM port (physical or virtual). Interface is detected automatically by application. In case, where multiple interfaces are connected, the application will use the interface with lowest COM number associated.

Application setup

1. Download and install the MD driver. Please refer to Support section on Motor Diagnose web page. You can select the driver which suits You best:
a. Windows Service driver (auto-start and auto-update). Driver works in background.
b. Standalone console application. Application must ne run manually in order to use the application.

2. Navigate to Motor Diagnose web page. Refer to Diagnostics PC section. Click the Check equipment button. Application will search for the driver and interface. If both are present – application is ready to use.
